SkinnyRx Tirzepatide Review: Intro Pricing, Mounjaro & Terms

SkinnyRx's current compounded tirzepatide injection page advertises $99 for the first month, including free overnight shipping. That introduction does not establish the later recurring price. The site also now publishes a separate Mounjaro page at $1,400 per month, so the two routes need different price and product comparisons.^4,5

The main purchase questions are the renewal amount and processing date, which subscription or pharmacy collects each payment, and which refund rules apply. The product FAQ is more generous about early cancellation and clinical nonapproval than some general terms. Its 90-day guarantee is conditional and should not be treated as a refund for every dissatisfaction.^4,5,6

Introductory injection price versus an ongoing plan

The $99 offer is expressly the first month of compounded injectable tirzepatide. It is not a confirmed ordinary monthly rate or a current twelve-month price ladder. The compounded product is not an FDA-approved finished medication. Its weekly injection, any oral offering and a branded pen are not interchangeable simply because they contain or refer to tirzepatide. Mounjaro is a separate branded route

The Mounjaro page identifies the branded pen and a $1,400 monthly offer. It states that the product is approved for type 2 diabetes and describes weight-loss use separately. The page also says no membership fee and the same price at every dose, while the general terms contemplate separate branded membership charges and externally billed pharmacy pathways. Confirm the actual selected arrangement rather than assuming every branded route has identical fees.^5,6

FDA warning letter, February 2026

FDA issued Lean Rx, Inc. dba SkinnyRx a warning letter in February 2026, posted under the subject line False & Misleading Claims/Misbranded (Telehealth)³. We confirmed it against FDA's own published warning-letter record rather than repeating a second-hand report, and the reference at the foot of this page links straight to FDA's copy.

That existing regulatory record is separate from the current price and product descriptions. This review does not establish that FDA has closed or resolved the matter.

Cancellation can require more notice than the product slogan suggests

The product FAQ says early cancellation before provider review can receive a full refund, while completed review and fulfillment make an order nonrefundable. It also says clinical nonapproval receives a full refund within 24–48 hours. Those statements should be compared with the general terms' nonrefundable clinical, pharmacy, processing and shipping fees; branded membership fees are also described as nonrefundable. Obtain clarification of the applicable charge and stage before relying on a full-refund expectation.^4,5,6

The terms allow charges and shipments up to five days early and require cancellation at least five days before the renewal processing date. The account, support center and telephone are listed cancellation routes, with cancellation effective at the paid period's end. “Cancel anytime” is therefore not the same as waiting until the advertised next period begins.⁶

The guarantee is a participation program, not a clinical promise

The 90-day guarantee requires continuous paid participation, an active prescription, weekly weight and medication tracking, no prior refund or chargeback, and no measurable weight loss under its stated test. Claims must be submitted within fourteen days after the guarantee period. An introductory discount cannot automatically be combined with the guarantee; the terms restrict combining promotions unless expressly allowed in writing.⁶

Its detailed provision describes covered bundled compounded-program charges or branded-path membership fees, while other provisions exclude third-party fees and impose return conditions for discretionary refunds. These provisions need to be resolved for the selected offer; do not assume every medication or pharmacy charge is refundable, or that a guarantee claim ends a financed commitment. The separate metabolic-health program and biosensors are excluded.⁶

Judge the provider on price, oversight and disclosure; judge the molecule on its trials. Tirzepatide's are strong — roughly 15–21% of body weight over 72 weeks in SURMOUNT-1¹, and better than semaglutide head-to-head² — but they were run on the brand drug at FDA-approved doses.
