Open Water Rx Tirzepatide Review: Monthly & Prepaid Terms

Open Water Rx lists compounded tirzepatide injections at $219 for one month, $645 for three months and $1,260 for six months. The pricing page describes the one-month plan as recurring monthly and the three- and six-month supplies as charged in full upfront. The longer-plan totals are not monthly installments.³

Choose the formulation and payment term

The published standard injection price includes provider review, medication and shipping if prescribed, without a separate membership fee. The page says those standard injection plans do not increase in price as the prescribed dose changes. Confirm the exact formulation, supplied quantity, tests and any services outside the listed bundle before authorizing payment.^3,4

Separate oral tirzepatide plans list $319 for one month, $897 for three months and $1,650 for six months. An oral or combination product is a different prescription option; its price does not establish clinical equivalence to the injection or a branded drug. The $169 injection headline belongs to semaglutide.³

The general terms describe recurring monthly subscriptions, while the pricing page explicitly calls longer supplies prepaid. Ask whether the selected prepaid order renews, when any later charge occurs and which cancellation terms apply. Do not treat a lower equivalent monthly cost as permission to pay in installments.^3,5

The Peak Wellness review examines selected-plan pricing alongside a conflicting shipping message. Compare delivery charges and renewal terms in the complete quote before treating the same-price-at-every-dose wording as an all-in bill.

The Jyra Health review highlights the same prepaid-versus-renewal question: its public selector shows $399 for three months paid upfront, while other published pricing gives $537 for three months and a $199 one-month option. General Terms describe auto-renewal. Confirm which price and renewal authorization govern the selected order; a one-time purchase label does not resolve conflicting subscription terms.^9,10,11

Cancellation stops future charges, not every pharmacy order

The May 2026 cancellation policy permits cancellation through the patient portal at any time without advance notice. It says ordinary subscriptions bill on the same calendar date monthly, adjusted to the last day of shorter months, with messaging access continuing through the paid period.⁶

The site promises no charge if treatment is not approved. Once a pharmacy has processed an item, orders are nonrefundable. The terms also require refund requests within seven days of the charge; that request window does not guarantee approval or override the processing cutoff.^5,6

For later provider-documented medical disqualification, the policy promises a full refund of unused subscription charges, confirmed by its medical oversight team, processed within five to seven business days. Elsewhere it limits refunds to the most recent billing cycle and says an eligibility-related refund “may” be issued. Obtain the applicable calculation for a prepaid or partly used plan rather than assuming every unused month is automatically refundable.⁶

Damaged or incorrect medication should be reported immediately with evidence. Replacement is the stated usual remedy; monetary refunds for damage remain at the pharmacy’s discretion. These exceptions differ from an ordinary change-of-mind cancellation.⁶

Ask who will prescribe and dispense

Open Water Rx LLC says it also operates under the Surfbound and Surfbound Health names, with enrollment through Surfbound. Public pages name Emerald, Striker, Foothills and EPIQ Scripts in its pharmacy network and say partners vary by medication and location. Those names do not identify a patient’s assigned facility or independently establish current credentials.^3,5

Nationwide-access statements remain subject to provider availability, state requirements and clinical review. Confirm the actual treating practice, preparing/dispensing pharmacy, prescription and governing agreement. Compounded tirzepatide is not an FDA-approved finished drug.^4,5,8 Brand-drug trials do not establish outcomes for this platform or a compounded preparation. SURMOUNT-1 and SURMOUNT-5 provide clinical context, not proof that a particular compounded formulation or care program produces the same results.^1,2
