Livea Tirzepatide Review: Starting Price, Regional Care and Terms

Livea’s named GLP-1 page says compounded tirzepatide starts at $199 per month when available. That is a conditional starting claim, not confirmation of current stock, every dose’s price or a medication-and-care total. The medical program separately advertises $69 per month for access and supervision, with medication extra. Obtain the actual prescription and complete program quote before paying.^3,9

Livea combines regional clinics, telehealth and nutrition support. Its appeal is access to an ongoing care team; its public limitations are inconsistent price and geography descriptions and patient-specific financial terms. This review concerns public information, without treatment, enrollment or a purchase.

Separate the medication from program access

The named GLP-1 FAQ describes compounded tirzepatide as a once-weekly injection, with availability dependent on current options and your clinical assessment. Its $99 semaglutide starting figure is a different medication. Microdosing is another described approach, not proof that standard tirzepatide costs the smallest generic GLP-1 headline.⁹

The $69 medical-page footnote explicitly covers program access and medical supervision. The general FAQ instead uses $69 for compounded medication while saying medications are billed separately from membership. Those statements leave the complete purchase unclear. Do not assume either a $199 all-in total or an automatically applicable $199-plus-$69 package.^3,4

Ask for the selected medication, dose, concentration, total quantity, supplied period, program fee, laboratory costs and first and renewal charges together. No full dose-price schedule or selected supply is established by the starting claim. A free initial consultation does not make ongoing care or medication free, and a monthly label does not establish unrestricted cancellation.

Livea also describes branded options such as Zepbound, subject to suitability and coverage. Price those separately from compounded treatment. Public coverage and HSA/FSA statements are not guarantees of reimbursement or removal of the program, drug or testing charges.^3,4

Confirm location eligibility before booking

The telehealth page and current GLP-1 material advertise Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa and Florida. However, some FAQ answers still refer only to Minnesota and Wisconsin, and the February 2026 Terms describe providers licensed in those two states and require location there or eligibility confirmed with staff. Confirm the service and prescriber for your physical location rather than treating a marketing list as universal authorization.^4,5,6,9

Clinic counts also conflict: the FAQ lists four Minnesota locations, while other page counters refer to six or eight. Use the actual location and appointment confirmation you need; these differences do not establish a clinic closure or nationwide availability.^4,7,9

The public route is a free consultation request or booking link, followed by health intake and a provider conversation. Livea says the clinician reviews history and goals before recommending a plan. A booking request does not establish approval, a specific drug or an accepted financial agreement.^5,6

What human support means here

Livea describes nutrition counseling, meal planning, coaching, provider visits, app tracking and messaging. The FAQ gives a typical pattern of monthly provider visits, more frequent coach check-ins and a GLP-1 follow-up after four to six weeks, while leaving the individual schedule to the care team. Confirm frequency and who handles medication questions rather than assuming on-demand clinical responses.^4,5

The medical page describes dietitian-built nutrition plans; the About page names Beth Maschoff, RD, as Director of Nutrition and Paul Olson, MD, as Medical Director. These are company disclosures, not independent verification of credentials or a promise that either person treats you. Ask whether your selected package includes individual dietitian appointments, group resources or coaching, and what additional visits cost.^3,7

The FAQ says InBody scans and some injection services require an in-person visit. Telehealth patients can visit a clinic for a complimentary InBody scan; that is different from having the scan performed remotely. The telehealth page says laboratory work may be ordered and reviewed, but does not establish that outside laboratory testing is free.^4,5

Commitments, cancellation and refunds

The FAQ describes most programs as month to month, while allowing longer commitments for extended or customized programs. Pause and cancellation policies vary by program. This is not a universal cancel-anytime agreement or a promise to repay unused medication.⁴

The public Terms, effective February 1, 2026, defer fees to the patient agreement and say payment is due at service unless another arrangement exists. They defer late-cancellation and no-show details to booking and intake documents, with an uncompleted placeholder for specific rules. Complete telehealth consent is also presented separately during intake.⁶

The Terms ask for appointment rescheduling at least 24 hours ahead. That is not an established membership cancellation deadline. They require billing disputes within 30 days; that is not a 30-day refund guarantee. Obtain the selected commitment, recurring authorization, notice period, effective cancellation date and treatment-denial/refund rules before accepting charges.⁶

A complete selected financial agreement was not available in the inspected public material. Its absence leaves those terms unknown; it does not establish that there are no rules, that every order is refundable or that the business is unavailable. Stopping a prescription, canceling renewal and recovering payment remain separate questions.

Clinical and pharmacy responsibilities

The site attributes medical services to physician-owned Livea Medical, PLLC, managed by Minnesota Weight Control, Inc., doing business as Livea. Its history, patient totals, awards and outcome statements are provider reports, not independent measures of your likely treatment experience.^7,8

Livea describes licensed or accredited compounding partners and generic 503A/503B sourcing, but the actual preparing or dispensing pharmacy for a prescription was not established. Request its legal name, contact details, formulation, storage instructions and beyond-use date. General regulatory or testing language does not independently verify a particular facility or preparation.^3,4

The telehealth page advertises free shipping, estimated three-to-five-day arrival, automatic-refill availability and an option for local pharmacy pickup. These are service descriptions, not a guaranteed approval or order-to-door deadline. Confirm the dispensing route, refill authorization and timing for your actual prescription.⁵

The conditional $199 starting claim makes Livea worth investigating for someone seeking regional clinical and nutrition support, but the complete care-and-medication payment and selected agreement still need confirmation.
