Fella Health Tirzepatide Review: Signup Pause and Member Terms

Fella Health is temporarily pausing new signups while it reviews its offers. Its current homepage directs existing members to their accounts and support team. A prospective patient should not treat the older $449 compounded-program description as an available offer or assume a new enrollment can be completed now.³

Fella's public announcement says it will no longer advertise compounded GLP-1 offerings on its platform or in third-party marketing. It also says independent healthcare providers continue making treatment decisions and discussing FDA-approved obesity medicines with patients. That announcement and the signup pause do not establish that Fella has closed or that all existing patient care has stopped.⁴

What the current update means for new patients

The homepage gives no restart date or current selected tirzepatide price. The announcement is not a new medication catalog, pharmacy quote or promise that a particular brand will be prescribed. Confirm whether enrollment has reopened and what care, medication and pharmacy charges apply before treating any previous price as current.^3,4

The change in advertised offerings also does not settle the preparation used for an existing prescription. Ask your clinician or pharmacist about your actual product and any proposed change. Existing members still have a care contact

Fella's homepage tells existing members to access their accounts, manage their memberships and contact the care team. Its Terms of Use identify Aios Inc., doing business as Fella, as the website operator and describe access to independent medical groups. The membership document lists Fella Medical Group practices in California, New Jersey, Kansas and Florida.^3,5,7

The membership agreement covers an initial evaluation, ongoing obesity care, prescribing when appropriate and access to the medical team. It does not provide general primary, hospital or emergency care. It is a self-pay arrangement, not health insurance, and the practice says it does not bill insurance for these services.⁵

Existing members should ask their team how the offer review affects upcoming appointments, prescriptions, refills and pharmacy arrangements. An account remaining available does not establish the timing or availability of a specific medication. Conversely, a pause in new signups does not itself cancel an existing membership or its payment obligations.

Termination notice is not the same as payment authorization

The membership agreement says the initial term is the term selected at signup and renews automatically for an identical term unless terminated. Fees are payable in advance, with the payment date tied to the intake appointment anniversary. Some members selected six-month plans, so a renewal should not automatically be assumed to mean one month.⁵

Contract termination requires 30 days' prior written notice. The document separately allows revocation of automatic payment authorization by contacting the practice at least five days before the scheduled payment date. Revoking that authorization does not erase charges already incurred or otherwise owed. Ask the team to confirm both the effective termination date and remaining payment obligations in writing.⁵

The agreement also allows membership-fee changes with 90 days' written notice. Current members should check their own enrollment terms and notices rather than relying on a historical public price.

The six-month guarantee has detailed eligibility limits

The guarantee page is explicitly for existing members enrolled in an eligible plan. It requires at least 180 days of membership, specified medical-form and lab submissions, treatment adherence, weight tracking in at least 21 of the first 26 weeks, a qualifying starting BMI and less than 5% weight loss. Returning members and those canceling before 180 days are excluded.⁶

There is also a sixth-month refill-related condition. Ask the care team to explain how that applies to your plan; do not delay a needed refill, skip medication or change prescribed treatment to pursue a refund. The request window is days 181–210 after signup, not an unrestricted refund deadline whenever treatment ends.⁶

For qualifying plans with medication included in the membership, the guarantee covers the membership including medication. Medication paid separately to a pharmacy is excluded. The page also describes a prorated refund for intolerable side effects after working with the team, and a full refund if treatment cannot begin after medical review. These are specific provisions, not a general right to recover every payment after voluntary cancellation.⁶

Discuss treatment changes and important risks with the clinician, including Zepbound side effects, gallbladder concerns and the thyroid C-cell tumor warning.

Judge the provider on price, oversight and disclosure; judge the molecule on its trials. Tirzepatide's are strong — roughly 15–21% of body weight over 72 weeks in SURMOUNT-1¹, and better than semaglutide head-to-head² — but they were run on the brand drug at FDA-approved doses.
