Evergreen Tirzepatide Review: Cash-Pay Care and Refill Terms

Researched & written by Alan PierceClinical Pharmacology WriterUpdated

On this page

Evergreen Telehealth includes tirzepatide in its Evergreen Lean weight-management program. Its care model combines online assessment, clinician-directed medication and continuing support. The terms identify NVP Medical Group, P.A. as the clinical partner and ConsultRX LLC dba Evergreen Telehealth as the platform.12

The most useful published distinction is financial: stopping the plan does not shorten a term already paid for, and avoiding a charge for the upcoming dispensed refill requires at least seven days' notice. That is more specific than a broad cancel-anytime promise.2 We reviewed public information rather than buying medication or testing the service.

What the named program establishes

Evergreen's treatment page expressly includes tirzepatide or semaglutide and describes dosing adjusted by the clinician, with one care team from prescription to follow-up.1 The offer therefore involves a named medicine, not an inference that every GLP-1 service necessarily supplies tirzepatide.

The inspected material does not establish a complete numerical dose-and-supply quote for a particular patient. Ask which formulation is proposed, what quantity it provides, how often reviews occur and how the care team handles symptoms or a proposed medication change. A branded category and a continuing-care description do not by themselves establish response times or clinical results.

Compare the selected term, not only a monthly figure

The terms describe recurring plans whose billing cycle is disclosed at checkout. They say the displayed total represents the bundle selected, which may include consultation, care coordination and a specified medication quantity. Items not expressly included, such as certain laboratory work, can create additional costs.2

Obtain a complete quote showing the payment today, term length, medication quantity, refill schedule and renewal amount. A plan that advertises a monthly equivalent but is purchased for several months is financially different from buying a single month. Confirm what remains payable if the clinician changes treatment or you decide not to continue.

The service is cash-pay. The terms say Evergreen and NVP do not bill private insurance or government programs on the patient's behalf.2 This should be compared with an insurance-supported prescribing visit using the full medicine and care costs, rather than assuming that one package is automatically cheaper.

Seven days before renewal

Cancellation can be requested through account settings or Evergreen's Evie support agent. The terms say a cancellation prevents renewal at the end of the current term; it does not reduce that term or ordinarily refund fees already paid.2

To avoid an upcoming refill charge, the request must arrive at least seven days before renewal. Evergreen explains that medication is prescribed, processed and dispensed approximately seven days before that date. If cancellation arrives later, the plan still does not renew, but the patient is charged the non-refundable cost of the refill already dispensed for shipment; this is not necessarily another full plan term.2

Ask for the exact calendar cutoff and retain confirmation. If you have already received several refills under a longer plan, check whether canceling means only that the next plan will not renew. Pausing medication clinically and terminating a financial commitment are separate issues.

Refund exceptions are narrow

The refund policy treats processed consultations, prescriptions and medication as generally final. It describes two important exceptions: clinician-determined inability to continue may support a case-by-case refund for unshipped medicine, and inability to fulfill or ship medicine can qualify for a full refund of the unshipped medication amount.3

Those provisions are not a guarantee that every side effect, disappointing result or change of mind produces a refund. The medical determination belongs to NVP's licensed provider; the policy describes a request and review process. Keep the provider's communication and the order record if requesting an exception.

The policy says approved refunds generally take five to ten business days to process, with the bank possibly requiring longer to post them.3 Establish what portion of a total payment covers consultation versus unshipped medicine before assuming the whole amount is recoverable.

Clinical access and pharmacy details

The terms require adulthood and U.S. residence. The reviewed pages did not establish the individual clinician, assigned pharmacy or definitive state list for your proposed formulation.2 Ask about your location before paying and obtain those identities before treatment begins.

FDA explains that compounded GLP-1 medicines are not FDA-approved and do not receive its premarket review. It recommends compounded drugs only when needs cannot be met by an approved drug.4 Ask your prescriber to explain the selected formulation and alternatives. Trial averages for approved tirzepatide do not independently verify this platform or a particular compounded prescription.

Our assessment

Evergreen's strongest useful disclosures are its identified clinical partner, explicit cash-pay model and concrete subscription/refund provisions. A final dose-specific quote and actual clinical/dispensing assignment remain necessary. No independent treatment experience or regulatory-quality certification is established by this review.

Compare the whole term with other provider programs, and use the care-options guide and Zepbound cost guide to consider approved and compounded pathways with your clinician.

Frequently asked questions

Does Evergreen offer tirzepatide?

Its current treatment page names tirzepatide within Evergreen Lean, subject to clinician review and prescription.

When must I cancel Evergreen?

The terms require cancellation at least seven days before renewal to avoid a charge for the upcoming refill. A later cancellation still prevents plan renewal, but the already dispensed refill cost is non-refundable. Cancellation does not shorten a term already paid for.

Can I get an Evergreen medication refund?

The policy generally treats processed orders as final, with limited exceptions for unshipped medicine after medical inability to continue or inability to fulfill the order.
