Contour Health Tirzepatide Review: Vial Prices and Payment Terms

Contour Health advertises compounded tirzepatide from $50 per week, with medication sold by the vial. Its public calculator initially shows a $200 estimated monthly cost alongside a $500 vial price. The estimate and amount collected for a vial are different figures; neither is a verified prescription quote for every patient.³

The calculator's default example displays a 20 mg vial at $500, an estimated monthly cost of $200 and a supply lasting up to 10 weeks. Those are the site's calculator outputs, not a dose recommendation or confirmation that an opened vial can be used for that period. The prescription, dispensing label and pharmacist's storage and beyond-use instructions control the actual preparation.³

The same page says medication is sold in two-month vials and elsewhere describes a typical 6–14-week range depending on dose. Ask which vial, prescribed amount, supplied weeks and payment apply to the actual order. A four-week estimate should not be presented as a calendar-month invoice, and a calculator's supply estimate does not establish a product's usable life. The free consultation is where the site says the exact dose and cost are confirmed before payment.³

The homepage's lower general weight-loss starting price covers a broader treatment category. Use the named tirzepatide offer when requesting a quote; do not substitute the adjacent semaglutide price.^3,4

What the advertised care includes

Contour's weight-loss page lists provider consultation, medical review, medication, injection supplies, shipping and ongoing check-ins. Its expanded cost FAQ says no membership, monthly subscription or auto-refill fee for weight loss. The homepage also describes provider time and continuing access as included. These are advertised inclusions, not independent measurements of appointment access, response times or outcomes.^3,4

For a different billing model, the Wholesome Clinic review separates monthly tirzepatide bundles from visit-only fees. Compare the actual formulation, supply and included services with Contour's vial purchase; a monthly bundle and a monthly estimate for a vial are not the same payment arrangement.

No-subscription marketing and optional subscription terms

The current weight-loss page says patients decide when to reorder, with no subscription or automatic refill. The posted Terms nevertheless describe certain products and services offered on subscription: a minimum of three consecutive months, automatic charges on the specified schedule, and cancellation notice at least 30 days before the next billing cycle after the initial commitment.^3,5

Those general subscription provisions do not prove that every tirzepatide vial purchase requires a subscription. They also mean the marketing should not be treated as the complete agreement for every service. Before paying, obtain written confirmation that the selected order is a one-time vial purchase or identify the recurring authorization, commitment, next charge and applicable notice period.⁵

The Terms direct subscription cancellation by email and state that all product purchases are non-refundable. They do not establish a universal exception for an unused vial, clinician nonapproval or an order not yet shipped. Ask about cancellation before pharmacy processing, a damaged or unsuitable shipment and any service-specific exception. Stopping future charges is separate from receiving a refund for a product already purchased.⁵

State access, prescriber and dispensing pharmacy

Contour's expanded weight-loss FAQ says it serves 46 states and is not currently licensed in Michigan, Mississippi, Kentucky or Arkansas. Confirm both clinical availability and pharmacy delivery where you will physically receive care. A public state list does not guarantee treatment eligibility or a prescription.³

The homepage and Terms name Strive Pharmacy. The Terms list several Strive locations and say assignment can depend on location and medication needs. Request the actual dispensing facility, proposed formulation and pharmacist's instructions for the prescribed vial. Naming a pharmacy network does not independently verify every facility, professional credential or compounded preparation.^4,5

The weight-loss page displays a LegitScript verification link. This review did not establish an independent current registry result, so the displayed link is not treated as certification of an individual clinician or prescription. The site also names its clinical team; confirm who will provide care and how to reach them for questions or adverse effects.³

Insurance and the medication evidence

Contour's Terms say it does not participate in private health insurance, Medicare or Medicaid and that patients are responsible for the products and services purchased. HSA/FSA card acceptance is described separately and does not guarantee an administrator will approve the expense.⁵

Compounded tirzepatide is not an FDA-approved finished drug.
