The useful comparison is the medication and care available now, together with the charge authorization and refund boundary. Confirm the actual prescription and order summary before paying; marketing claims do not identify your vial’s concentration or supplied quantity.

Read the monthly offer alongside the renewal terms

The homepage distinguishes $129 tirzepatide from $89 semaglutide. Its FAQ expressly limits those prices to new patients and says they stay the same at every dose while membership remains active. The Terms nevertheless allow future refill-price changes with notice. Obtain confirmation of the price promise and renewal amount that apply to your selection rather than assuming the two statements establish an unconditional lifetime rate.^1,2

The current advertisement is month to month, not an identified annual-prepayment offer. Still, ask for the first charge, refill interval, days supplied and total medication quantity together. These details matter when comparing a calendar-month subscription with a program that supplies a different number of weekly doses. Do not infer an upfront multi-month invoice or a particular dose from the headline.

Authorization happens before the prescription decision

The September 2026 Terms distinguish advance authorization from charging: submitting intake and payment information authorizes a future charge, which occurs when the clinician issues a prescription. The separate clinical consent describes asynchronous review of questionnaire information, photographs and follow-up answers. A video or telephone visit occurs when required by state law, requested by the patient or clinically indicated; a requested live visit has no additional charge. Consider that distinction if you want a conversation before treatment is authorized.⁵

Care-team messaging is described, but the consent says messages are not monitored continuously and are unsuitable for urgent problems. Ask who handles clinical questions, how follow-up is scheduled and what to do if your circumstances need in-person care. Access to messaging is not a guaranteed response time.⁵

Stopping renewal and obtaining a refund are different

Subscriptions renew automatically on the checkout schedule without a separate approval screen for every refill. Terms describe renewal reminders and ending further charges if the prescription is not renewed. Cancel through the account’s Subscriptions section or email; the cancellation is immediate for future charges.²

The separate refund page explicitly restates the operative Terms: canceling before dispatch qualifies for a full refund; ordinary refunds are unavailable once an order has been dispatched. Damaged, incorrect or missing orders retain a replacement-or-refund remedy. Refunds go to the original payment method and usually appear within ten business days.⁴

Keep the next charge and dispatch dates visible and retain confirmation. Withdrawing telehealth consent is also separate: the consent says that action ends the clinical relationship going forward but does not itself cancel the subscription.⁵

Assignment depends on the prescription and state. Ask for your actual dispenser and its authorization, formulation, concentration, storage directions and beyond-use date.²

The advertised 50-state clinician network does not establish that every treatment is available everywhere. Confirm eligibility where you will receive care and medication. Product images are marketing illustrations; the homepage says delivered vials are labeled differently.¹

The clinical consent and Privacy Policy distinguish the platform, practice and pharmacies’ record-handling roles and explain their stated privacy-law coverage. Do not assume a blanket HIPAA guarantee from a telehealth label; review the applicable notices and available privacy choices for your account.^5,6

Count current benefits, not a planned add-on

Optimum is still described as an upcoming optional membership with coaching, personal training, nutrition support, at-home labs and wearables integration. The homepage also uses broad language about an integrated care team. That does not make a currently bookable nutritionist appointment or lab package part of the medication subscription.¹

If those services determine your choice, confirm availability, appointment type and any additional charge. No Optimum price or launch date should be added to the current medication quote.
