Wisp Tirzepatide Review: Care Fees, Pharmacy Costs and Renewals

Wisp’s named tirzepatide offer is a Zepbound prescription with local pharmacy pickup. Its page advertises $99 per month, while the broader menu lists a $99 Weight Care consult. These are care-related charges, not a medication-inclusive Zepbound price: Wisp’s help center says the local pharmacy’s drug charge is separate from its consultation and prescription fee.^3,4,10

Compare the amount Wisp charges with the pharmacy’s actual quote and the selected renewal schedule. A monthly headline alone does not establish the full first payment, supplied medication quantity or whether insurance will cover the prescription.

Care fees and medication are separate purchases

The named Zepbound page specifies local pickup only. General delivery banners for other treatments should not be read as a promise that Wisp will ship this prescription. Confirm the pharmacy, availability, prescribed format, strength and supplied period before arranging collection.³

The general insurance article says Wisp does not accept insurance for its visits or prescriptions, while the local pharmacist can check coverage for the separately purchased medication. That distinction matters: private-pay clinical care and an insured pharmacy transaction can coexist. Neither approval assistance nor a discount card guarantees a particular price or coverage.¹⁵

Confirm the renewal period before paying

Wisp’s general subscription help describes quarterly charges and a reminder two weeks before renewal. Its Zepbound page instead uses a monthly price label. Those public descriptions do not establish that your weight-care selection is billed quarterly, nor support an assumed three-month invoice. Obtain the selected first charge, recurring amount, billing interval and included services together.^3,13

The May 2026 Terms distinguish ordinary automatic renewal from prescription renewals requiring a completed renewal intake and clinician review. A prescription renewal is not billed until a valid prescription is processed. Confirm which subscription you are accepting; this condition is not a guarantee that every care-related fee stops automatically.⁶

Compare when access charges recur with when a prescription is processed; the medication, service inclusions and refund rules remain specific to each program.¹⁷

Use the account’s Subscriptions section or contact support to cancel. The published rule requires at least 48 hours before the next renewal; the help center says late requests are not honored. Keep confirmation and address an outside pharmacy’s refill separately.¹²

Medical appointment rules are different: the March 2026 Medical Terms permit a missed-appointment or late-cancellation fee with less than 24 hours’ notice, without specifying its amount there. This is not the subscription deadline.⁷

Refunds and a declined prescription

The general refund article says payments are final and returns are not accepted. It provides a support process for problems, without promising a particular remedy.¹¹ The Terms additionally permit discretionary refunds or replacements for unavailable, damaged, defective or undelivered products; they do not establish an unconditional refund when treatment changes.⁶

A separate help article describes a $25 clinical-review fee when every requested prescription is declined, with no such fee if at least one is approved. This general rule does not specify how a weight-care charge is otherwise adjusted. Confirm what would be retained and returned for your order instead of assuming either a full refund or that only $25 can be charged.¹⁴

Canceling renewal, disputing an existing Wisp charge and asking the dispensing pharmacy about an already-filled prescription are separate steps. Obtain each answer before authorizing payment, especially if starting a new treatment or changing providers.

Care team and follow-up

The consultation page describes monthly check-ins and Care Team access. The Medical Terms qualify services as episodic and limited, with response times not guaranteed. Ask who handles dose questions, how to reach that person and what happens if you need more comprehensive or in-person care.^5,7

For another intake model, our Obu Health review considers a questionnaire-first service. OBU’s general FAQ describes feedback in approximately 24 hours and video or live chat in some states. That is an advertised response expectation, not a guaranteed prescription or delivery time. Compare the live contact required in your location and support for dose questions; OBU’s fees, eligibility and refund rules do not apply to Wisp.¹⁶

Wisp, Inc. provides the platform rather than medical treatment. Its linked practice directory names Hemlock Medical entities, Beluga Health and SteadyMD among clinical partners. That list does not identify the clinician assigned to you.^7,8

The site names clinicians, including Shannon Chatham on the consultation page and Suneer Chandler on the Zepbound page. These are company disclosures, not a promise that either provides your care. Consent allows live or asynchronous encounters and a request to review the assigned provider’s credentials. Confirm eligibility where you are physically located; the weight-care pages explicitly restrict care by state.^3,5,9

Keep different formulations distinct

Wisp’s wider menu includes compounded sublingual semaglutide drops at $225 per month. That is another medication and formulation, not oral tirzepatide or a Zepbound price. Its consultation-page footnote says that preparation has not been tested within the human body and that patient effectiveness may vary; this does not establish comparative effectiveness against an injection.^4,5

The broader weight-care page also carries globally sourced, non-FDA-approved product wording, while the named Zepbound page describes an FDA-approved brand prescription for local pickup. Consent says product pages and treatment guides identify globally sourced prescriptions. Confirm your exact product and pharmacy rather than applying a general category disclaimer to every prescription.^3,4,9
