Elara MD Tirzepatide Review: Medication, Pricing & Renewals

Elara MD advertises Personalized GLP-1/GIP + B12 from $249/month, but that class-based label does not establish a named tirzepatide prescription, dose or complete charge. Its current FAQ names Strive Pharmacy and Beluga Health and describes patient-initiated renewal payments. The cancellation cutoff needs clarification because two public pages use different wording.^3,4

Confirm the medicine before comparing the price

The product page describes a patient-specific preparation with B vitamins and a prescription requirement. It does not substantiate the previously reported $349 for a 2.0 mg tirzepatide dose. A GLP-1/GIP class label is not a complete ingredient-and-concentration statement. Obtain the actual medication, dose, supplied quantity and first and continuing charges before authorizing payment.³

The page advertises free shipping when prescribed. That does not establish an identical all-in price at every dose, the same laboratory or consultation inclusions for every plan, or an accepted personal quote. Ask which visits, tests, injection supplies and follow-up services the selected payment covers. A prescription remains a clinician's decision.^3,6

The product's state disclaimer also says additives may vary by location and that a version without B12 or other additives may be dispensed where required. Confirm the exact prescribed preparation; do not assume every patient receives the formulation shown in the product heading.³

Monthly reminders are not automatic payment

The reorder FAQ says patients receive a monthly renewal notification and provider review. If eligible to continue, the patient must process the payment; it expressly says the monthly prescription is not automatically debited. A notification is therefore different from an automatic recurring charge.⁴

Our Prime Health review describes a contrasting agreement with automatic billing every 28 days. Compare who authorizes the next payment and on what date, rather than treating every monthly program as the same subscription. Prime Health's terms do not establish Elara MD's billing rules.

Before a refill, confirm the continuing quote, review requirements and whether the next pharmacy order has already been submitted. Stopping a future renewal does not necessarily reverse an order already processing.

Two cancellation descriptions need reconciliation

The account FAQ says orders begin processing immediately and cannot be changed or canceled once submitted. The Returns & Refund Policy instead says patients can log in before shipment to cancel a subscription. Those descriptions concern different possible stages and do not establish one dependable cutoff for reversing a medication order.^4,5

Get written confirmation of what can still be stopped: the submitted order, a future renewal or both. The reviewed wording does not establish a universal 24-, 48- or 72-hour cancellation window or an unconditional refund before shipment.

Refunds and delivery problems are separate

The prescription policy says sales are final once payment has been charged and the package handed to the carrier. It directs patients to support for damaged medication and describes investigation and reshipment for lost packages. Neither provision is an unrestricted money-back guarantee.⁵

The same page's 30-day return provision concerns unopened nonprescription items. It should not be applied to prescription medication. Ask separately what happens if clinical approval is declined, care must stop or a prescription has already entered pharmacy processing; the reviewed pages do not establish a complete refund calculation for every circumstance.^5,6

Named partners still require individual confirmation

The FAQ names Strive Pharmacy in Gilbert, Arizona, and Beluga Health as its pharmacy and provider-network partners. These are published attributions, not independent verification of current licenses or confirmation of the professional and facility assigned to an individual prescription.⁴

Terms allow patients to request their preferred pharmacy before completing an order. Ask whether changing the dispenser changes the price, preparation, supplied quantity or delivery arrangement. A named network partner does not settle those order-specific questions.⁶

Confirm availability in the state where you receive care and medication. General national or broad-coverage marketing does not establish that every preparation or additive is available in every location.³

Keep compounded-product claims separate from trial evidence

The product page describes preparation under Section 503A and patient-specific prescribing. That is the site's representation, not independent verification that a particular preparation meets every legal requirement. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved finished products; adding B12 does not establish equivalence to the products studied in major tirzepatide trials.³
