Maven Clinic Tirzepatide Review: Zepbound and Separate Membership Costs
Researched & written by Alan PierceClinical Pharmacology WriterUpdated
On this page
Maven’s current GLP-1 care page names Zepbound, says it does not offer compounded formulations, and separates clinical membership from medicine billed by the pharmacy. Its visible main page advertises $39 for the first month and lower recurring membership rates when several months are prepaid.1
The current Get started link opens a public onboarding questionnaire. No answers were submitted for this review. Some other pages still refer to a waitlist, so confirm that your state and selected service are accepting new patients.
| Program detail | What it means |
|---|---|
| $39 first month | Clinical membership only |
| $297 / $534 / $888 prepaid terms | Three, six or 12 months of membership |
| Zepbound from $299/month | Medication billed separately by pharmacy |
| Nutrition and strength support | Check limits on additional services |
Membership and medication are two payments
The main page lists prepaid membership at $297 every three months, $534 every six months, and $888 every 12 months. Those correspond to $99, $89 and $74 per month, respectively. They are clinical membership charges, not a year of tirzepatide.1
The pricing page separately lists Zepbound from $299/month at 2.5 mg, with higher amounts for higher doses. It describes a 45-day refill condition for certain higher-dose prices. Neither the overall $149 GLP-1 headline nor the membership’s $74 equivalent is the named Zepbound starting medication cost.2
The pricing page also lists a $150 monthly membership option alongside the prepaid plans. Request the exact selected plan, its first payment, renewal amount and refund policy. Do not combine the lowest numbers from different terms to invent an all-in offer.
Women’s metabolic and hormone care
Maven connects GLP-1 care with reproductive history, perimenopause, menopause and related health concerns. The program describes clinician visits and messaging, dose and side-effect support, and initial nutrition and strength-coaching consultations. Other virtual-clinic services may carry separate charges.12
That care model is distinctive for someone seeking broader clinical support alongside a prescription. It does not guarantee eligibility, a particular medication or an individual outcome. The medicine is prescribed after review and filled through the pharmacy; coverage depends on the health plan.
Prepayment deserves a separate cancellation check
The pricing page says a patient may qualify for a refund if a clinician decides GLP-1 treatment is unsuitable, referring to Payment Terms for details. It does not establish an unconditional refund for unused months of a prepaid membership.2 Read the applicable payment agreement before selecting a longer commitment, including renewal, cancellation and the treatment of medication charges already billed by a pharmacy.

Our assessment
Maven may suit someone who wants women’s metabolic and hormone care alongside a Zepbound prescription. The important cost questions are the separate pharmacy bill and the commitment behind prepaid membership rates. Confirm state availability, the selected membership term and the final payment agreement before adding the separate pharmacy bill.
Frequently asked questions
Does Maven prescribe compounded tirzepatide?
Its current program says it prescribes FDA-approved medications only, including Zepbound, and does not offer compounded formulations.
Does Maven membership include medicine?
No. Maven bills membership separately; the pharmacy bills medication. The medicine cost depends on drug, dose and coverage.
Can I start Maven GLP-1 care in my state?
The main page offers a Get started route, but service and prescribing availability depend on location and clinical eligibility. Confirm access for your state and selected plan before paying.
